Outrage! Over many years, citizens such as myself have worked to create a metropolitan area devoid of fun. You've ruined this in just one night!I have alerted the authorities and your so-called "instillations" will now be closely monitored. The silent majority, of which I am a representative, will fight against this "warming". I am posting this anonomosly as I do not wish my suburban letterbox to be your next, dastardly target!
Thanks for your support amac! The photos on your citylights projects blog are great! And you managed to capture all 4 poles before the removal of 2, well done!
I wonder if there is some way to inject knitting into the citylights project?
Oh yesss I am so happy to finally find the source of the knitted graffiti! Thanks for commenting! I think these are so great, I look forward to stumbling upon some more soon! They just made me day, and whenever I see pictures they just bring a smile to my face! Thankyou!!
I think your stuff is amazing. Next visit to Melbourne (my old home town) will definately include at visit to Hosier Lane...hope they will be there for a while.
Inspired by an off-chance encounter in Paris with Texan yarn-bombers "Knitta Please", a sister group has been established right here in Melbourne!
We are heating up the city with our crafty creations. Litta gatherings are held monthly, with knitting tutorials, fine wine and even finer conversation.
No previous knitting experience is required and new members with needles and yarn in hand are always welcome. Please also note: knitting is non-gender specific!
Send us an email at knittalitta@hotmail.com or join our facebook group to receive updates.
And remember, knit hard or die lonely.
